My intention when handcrafting a jewelry piece is to be mindful of the process, choosing studio practices and sourcing materials that will not harm the environment or it’s inhabitants.
I enjoy coming up with unique designs and getting immersed in the process of creating. Inspiration comes from the outdoors and elements in nature. You will see a lot of different hammered textures in my work, along with an array of textures and designs created with precious metal clay. I primarily work with recycled or fair mined sterling silver, Argentium silver and fine silver, but you may find an occasional touch of copper, brass or gold in my pieces. Most of my pieces are oxidized. to highlight their detail and texturing
